“惟学书院”院长聘任仪式暨院长报告会

亲爱的院生们：

“惟学无际，际于天地”，浙江大学校歌中的这句话，你们还记得吗？

念兹在兹，终于见面。1号书院将更名为“惟学书院”。“惟学”二字正是取自浙江大学校歌“惟学无际，际于天地”这句话。希望在“惟学书院”的各位，学有所得，学有所获，学有所成。

9月20日晚，“惟学书院”院长聘任仪式暨见面会将隆重举行。我们非常荣幸的邀请到国家973项目首席科学家、教育部长江学者特聘、浙江省特级专家、全国重点实验室主任严建华教授出任“惟学书院”院长。

严教授将与大家分享大学教育、研究生连贯培养、科教协同和产教融合等方面内容，并与同学们面对面交流互动。现场还有精美纪念品相赠，期待你的到来！

活动对象：所有书院在住院生

活动时间：2023年9月20日（周三）晚18:30

活动地点：国际校区学术大讲堂

【注意事项】报名开始时间2023/9/18 18:00,截止时间2023/9/19 16:00，名额有限，报满即止。本次活动将作为《形势与政策2》课程选修讲座，同时作为本科新生始业教育环节（三个书院各有一讲，至少择其一）。

Invitation to the Master Inauguration Ceremony of the Weixue College

Dear Students： 

Do you still remember the lyrics from Zhejiang University anthem saying that “In the boundless realm of learning, connecting with the heavens and the earth”? 

We have arrived at this moment. The Residential College No.1 will be renamed as the "Weixue College", taking the name from the lyrics of Zhejiang University anthem. We sincerely hope that all the residents of our Residential College will gain knowledge, achieve success, and make significant contributions to their academic study. 

The Master Inauguration Ceremony of Weixue College will be held on the evening of September 20th. We are honored to announce that Professor Yan Jianhua, Chief Scientist of Major State Basic Research Development Program of China (973 Project), Distinguished professor of Cheung Kong Scholars of Ministry of Education, super expert in Zhejiang Province,Director of the State Key Laboratory of Clean Energy Utilization，will be serving as the Master of the Weixue College. 

Professor Yan will share insights on higher education, continuous graduate educating, the integration of science and education, and the integration of industry and education, etc. There will also be exquisite souvenirs distributed at the event.

Event Location: The Auditorium, Zhejiang University International Campus  

【NOTE】 Registration opens from 18:00 on September 18 to 16:00 on September 19. Limited places are available. This event will serve as a lecture for the "Current Situation and Policy 2" course and as part of the orientation schedule for undergraduate freshmen. And three Residential colleges will hold one Mater Inauguration Ceremony respectively, you should choose at least one of them to attend.
